One of a director can be appointed as the secretary, subject to following conditions

  • Only if the company annual Turnover is less than one million
  • Stated capital is below 500,000LKR.
  • Foreigner cannot be the secretary to the company
  • Single director cannot be appointed as the secretary.

Appointment of a qualified secretary.
Third party qualified entity/ person can be appointed as the company secretary.

Process of Registration of a Private Limited Company.

By searching your unique Company Name, you can get the Name Approval. (Provided there is no similar company name to the proposed company name).

You have to select either Private limited or (Pvt)Ltd .
Based on the name reservation type, your name in Business Registration certificate will be issued
After the payment, you can reserve your proposed company name for 3 months.
